FAQ
Do you charge by the hour or is there a flat rate for the entire event?
My wedding and event packages are priced based on the amount of coverage you need, so you'll receive a custom quote depending on how many hours you'd like me there. If your timeline changes and you end up needing me to stay longer than originally planned, any additional coverage will simply be billed at my hourly rate.
Can we schedule a consultation or phone call before booking?
Yes, of course! If we're planning a wedding or event, I strongly encourage (and typically require) a phone or video call before booking. We'll go over your vision, walk through your timeline together, answer any questions, and make sure we're on the same page. Plus, I love to yap, so it's the perfect chance for us to get to know each other before your big day!
When will I receive my photos?
I know you'll be excited to see them (I'd be too)! Portrait sessions are typically delivered within 2–3 weeks, while weddings and larger events take a little longer. I'll give you an estimated turnaround time when you book, and I'll always keep you updated along the way.
Do you require a deposit to book?
Yes! A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to officially reserve your date on my calendar. Once your retainer is paid and your contract is signed, your date is all yours! The remaining balance is due before your session or event, and I'll send plenty of reminders along the way.
Do you travel for weddings or destination sessions?
Yes! I love traveling for weddings and sessions. If your location requires travel, any applicable travel expenses such as mileage, flights, hotels, or other accommodations will be included in your custom quote. If you're planning a destination wedding or a session that's a little farther away, the earlier you reach out, the better! It gives us plenty of time to plan the details and make sure everything comes together smoothly.
